What we do

Every year, ECSS works on a number of strategies to disseminate high quality, innovative science and make an impact within the sport science community.

Our annual congress is packed full of science, innovation, and opportunities to learn, connect and develop.

Our journal publishes the latest research on all aspects of sport science from authors all around the world.

Our Young Investigators Award puts the spotlight on up-and-coming young researchers and their work.

The GSSI Sports Nutrition Award brings sports nutrition and hydration into the focus at our annual congress with the aim of further developing these scientific fields.

The EJSS Best Paper Award brings the most original and significant research published in our journal to the surface.

Meet the team

We said goodbye to four long standing ECSS team members: Tom Delaveaux, Steffen Neubert, Alexandra Sasha Zavadska and Juliane Levya Gonzalez. ECSS wishes them the very best in their future endeavours.
